Robinson 50th
Jon and Sandra (Dunn) Robinson of Lebanon will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Jan. 30.
The couple was married on Jan. 30, 1959. Children include Mike Robinson and wife Susie of Southlake, Texas, and Rhonda (Robinson) Redhead and husband Richard of Frisco, Texas. The couple has three grandchildren.
Jon is retired from the Lebanon Reporter and Sandra is retired from Union Carbide.

McVey 70th
Tuesday marked the 70th wedding anniversary of Lebanon residents James F. and Helen (Burgess) McVey. Jim and Helen, who married in Lebanon in August of 1940, celebrated the occasion at a gathering of more than 65 family and friends this past weekend.

Don and Marsha (Fites) Rapp of Thorntown will celebrate 50 years of marriage at an open house hosted by their children, from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 11, at Thorntown United Methodist Church.

Bennie and Bessie Smith will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Lebanon Rock Church Fellowship Hall, 504 E. Elm St., Lebanon.

John William and Marjorie Ellen (Mitchell) Rhoades, of Thorntown, were united in marriage 50 years ago, on Aug. 14, 1960, in the Trinity United Church of Christ, Mulberry. The Rev. John Westermeyer performed the ceremony.

The children of Stan and Beverly Rader will help celebrate the 50th wedding anniversary of their parents by hosting an ice cream social open house from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 15, in the fellowship hall of Centenary United Methodist Church, 910 Fordice Road, Lebanon.

John and Carol Conway, Lebanon, are celebrating 50 years of marriage with a party Saturday at the home of their son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Kirsten Conway of Kirklin.

William “Bill” and LaReata Bevard, Lebanon, will celebrate 50 years of marriage with a reception from 3to 7 p.m.Saturday at the Whitestown American Legion Post No. 410. Cards are welcome, but the family asks that gifts be omitted.

George Franklin and Barbara (Gamble) Anderson of Lebanon will celebrate 50 years of marriage on Friday, June 18, with their children and grandchildren. They will have dinner at the Milano Inn and attend the Broadway musical “Jersey Boys.”
