Daniel W. “Leo” and Tina (Hoogeveen) Wines, of Lebanon, will celebrate 50 years of marriage on Aug. 18, 2012, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Lebanon Bible Baptist Church, 1530 Riley Road, Lebanon. Hosts of the celebration are the couple’s children.
The Wineses were married Aug. 19, 1962, at their home. The Rev. Thomas Linton officiated.
The couple’s children are Garry (Dawnetta) Wines of Pittsboro, and Barbara (Rusty) Payne, Monica Dumford and Judy Aldridge, all of Lebanon. They have 14 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Wines worked as a material handler at Evengreen Inc., retiring in 1996.
Mrs. Wines was a machine operator for Parker Hannifin Corp. She retired in 2000.
Memberships include Legion Post 113, VFW Post 910 and Eagles Lodge No. 2062, all in Lebanon.
Mr. Wines retired from military service after 34 1/2 years. This included service in the National Guard, Army, Marine Corps and Air Force Reserve.
They have lived in Lebanon for 78 years.
