Eugene and Mary (Shaw) Highland of Lebanon, will celebrate 65 years of marriage on Jan. 28, 2012.

The Highlands were married Jan. 28, 1947.

The couple’s children are Samuel Leroy Sr. of Crawfordsville, Richard Alan of Kirklin, Dennis Ray of Hawthorne, Fla., Joseph Martin (Cindy) Highland of Raccoon Lake, Laura Jean Maile of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Debra Rose (Donald) Kasper of Aiken, S.C. They have 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Mr. and Mrs. Highland were the original owners of H & H Automotive Supply Inc. from 1956 to 1980.

They are Boone County natives, except for 30 years spent in Florida and Raccoon Lake after they retired.

Hanna 50th

Melvin and Mary Ann (Ruckel) Hanna of Thorntown will celebrate 50 years of marriage from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, at Zion Tabernacle, 1155 W. Barner St., Frankfort. Their daughter, Ginger Gregory will be the hostess for the celebration.

Arthur and Donna (Wheeler) Richardson, of Lebanon, celebrated 60 years of marriage on Oct. 19, 2012, with a family dinner at Stookey’s, Thorntown.
The Richardsons were married Oct. 19, 1952.
