Bevard 50th

— William “Bill” and LaReata Bevard, Lebanon, will celebrate 50 years of marriage with a reception from 3to 7 p.m.Saturday at the Whitestown American Legion Post No. 410. Cards are welcome, but the family asks that gifts be omitted.

William Bevard and the former LaReata Johnson were married July 1, 1960, in Brooklyn, Ind.

The couple are the parents of Carl (Kelly) Bevard, Thorntown; Angela (Robert) Glendenning, Indianapolis, and Laura (Fred) Moody, Noblesville. A son, Robert Allen Bevard, is deceased.

They have 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Mr. Bevard retired from United Technologies in June 2002. Mrs. Bevard is a housewife. They have lived in BooneCountyfor 37 years and are members of the Whitestown American Legion.
