Marvin and Patricia (Ford) Wilson of Thorntown celebrated 50 years of marriage on Aug. 28, 2010. In honor of the occasion, the couple’s children would like family and friends to send a card or note.
The Wilsons were married Aug. 28, 1960.
The couple’s children are Randy (Cathy) Wilson of North Carolina, Rebecca Perkins of Indiana, and Gary (Tammy) Wilson and Cynthia (James) Anderson, all of Florida. They have eight grandchildren.
Both Mr. and Mrs. Wilson are retired.

Dr. Sam and Judith Young will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Dec. 24, 2011. They were married Dec. 24, 1961, at the Evangelical United Brethren Church in Lebanon, by the now-deceased Rev. Paul W. McFarland.
Lowell and Ethel Ross, of Lebanon, celebrated 60 years of marriage on Thanksgiving Day, with their family.
Leon and Harriett (Newton) Petty, of Lebanon, celebrated 60 years of marriage at a family gathering hosted by their children on Nov. 19, at the couple’s home.
Otis and Loretta (Davis) Thacker, of Lebanon, will celebrate 50 years of marriage with a reception, hosted by their son, from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, at Lighthouse Baptist Church, 858 W. 250 N, Lebanon.
