Packing a meal
Theresa Hanners, executive director of The Caring Center in Lebanon, inspects a can of green beans donated Monday by the Lebanon Senior Center. Sue Eicks, president of the Senior Center, left, said this is the fourth year the group has collected food items that will be used to help fill The Caring Center’s 350 orders for Thanksgiving dinners. “We supply everything from the butter up to the turkey,” Hanners said. Phyllis Ragsdale, right, was among the other Senior Center officers who came to help. The Senior Center also plans to adopt three needy families at Christmas, Eicks said.
