Trees for troops
Volunteers from FedEx and the Western Boone High School FFA packed dozens of Christmas “Trees for Troops” Tuesday at Dull’s Christmas Tree Farm, 1765 Blubaugh Avenue, Thorntown, Tuesday. The tree delivery is a part of the FedEx Special Delivery program, which provides transportation and logistical help for community and not-for-profit organizations. More than 50,000 trees have been delivered to military personnel and their families since “Trees for Troops” began in 2004.
