Ryan Laney wins Fair Factor

Ryan Laney won $500 for the Boone County Cancer Society in the 2010 Fair Factor Gives Back event. He chose to represent BCCS because his mother had breast cancer and he has other family ties to the organization.

Lebanon Community School Corp. will close early today due to "diminishing weather conditions."

Lebanon Middle School and Lebanon High School will close at 1:45 p.m. The elementary schools will dismiss at 2:50 p.m. Afternoon preschool is canceled and all school corporation buildings will be closed at 4 p.m.

The LHS Boys and Girls JV basketball games are postponed. The Girls and Boys JV game tonight vs Frankfort has been postponed due to weather. It has been rescheduled for Monday, Jan. 25 with a 6 and 7:30 start time.

Western Boone County Community Schools are also closing early. Western Boone Jr./Sr. High School will close at 1 p.m., followed by Granville Wells and Thorntown Elementary at 1:15 p.m.
