The proposed path of the CR 400 S extension is about half-way toward the horizon in this photograph taken from the CR 575 E bridge over Fishback Creek. Land for the extension and for a bridge over the creek is being acquired by Boone County. The project, due to begin in 2014, will include construction of 1 1/2 miles of new road to form a direct connection between Interstate 65 and CR 650 E in Whitestown.
