Lebanon — Erin King was named 2009 Miss Boone County at the Boone County 4-H Queen Contest Sunday evening at the Witham Health Services Pavilion at the Boone County 4-H Fairgrounds.
King, 20, Kirklin, was a 10-year member in 2008, and served as the first runner-up in the queen contest that year.
Members of her court are: Emily Faggetti, first runner-up; Acacia Scott, second runner-up; Ellen Carrell, third runner-up, and Jody Garst, fourth runner-up. Miss Congeniality is Cayla Mustin.
Erin King is a 2008 graduate of Clinton Central High School, King attends Ball State University. She is the daughter of Jeffery and Mary King. She has a sister, Erica Hughes, 24, who was the 2005 Miss Boone County.
