Start of a new school year

Dover — Jen Brunty, Spanish teacher at Western Boone Jr.-Sr. High School, puts the finishing touches on her classroom Wednesday afternoon by hanging up piñatas made by former students. Wednesday was the staff’s first day back, and students return to classes today. “I’m very excited,” Brunty said. “This time of the year hits, and I’m ready to see my kiddos again.”
