Boone County — With more people carrying debit and credit cards than cash these days, the leaders of the Boone County 4-H Fair wanted to provide another payment option to patrons.
Since most vendors at the fair only accept cash, Dawn Kouns, a member of the fair board, came up with an idea that allows people to use their credit cards at the fair.

The program is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Wednesday on the north steps of the Boone County Courthouse in downtown Lebanon. In the event of bad weather, the program will be held in the courthouse rotunda.
