Boone County —
The Salvation Army of Boone County is moving forward toward its 2012 Goal of $22,000, which is required to meet the needs of Boone County for the coming year. As of Sunday, $11,400 had been collected toward that goal.
Bell Ringers are also still needed for this season. If you have a desire to join the forces of helping others through The Salvation Army of Boone County, and would step forward to ‘Ring the Bells,’” please call Sheila or Richard Burdett at 765-894-1212 or 765-894-1222.

Boone County Clerk announces proposed vote center locations

‘Stamp Out Hunger’ drive deemed a success

Local peace officer program is Wednesday
Three Boone County law enforcement officers who died in the line of duty will be among those honored Wednesday during local observance of National Peace Officer’s Memorial Day.

The program is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Wednesday on the north steps of the Boone County Courthouse in downtown Lebanon. In the event of bad weather, the program will be held in the courthouse rotunda.
