Community clinic, director receive recognition

— Innovation and dedication earned the Boone County Community Clinic and its directors two prestigious honors at the Indiana Primary Health Care Association’s annual conference this week at Keystone at the Crossing in Indianapolis.

Dr. Bambi McQuade-Jones, the BCCC’s  executive director, was named All Star Provider of the Year, while the clinic’s H.E.R.S. for Her program received the IPHCA’s Special Exemplary Project Award.

“We got the award, but really it’s for all the community partners that are part of the Health Education, Resources and Services for Her program,” McQuade-Jones said Wednesday.
