Lebanon among BP gasoline recall locations

Boone County — BP says its gasoline recall now involves 4.7 million gallons of fuel distributed as far as southwestern Ohio and southern Indiana — about twice as large as previously reported.

The BP station at 1902 Indianapolis Ave., Lebanon, was included on a list of stations that distributed “off-specification” gasoline during the past two weeks. An released by BP on Wednesday also included Brownsburg, Fishers, Indianapolis and Lafayette stations

When the problem was first reported, BP said contaminated fuel could cause hard starting, stalling and drivability issues.
