Severe weather drill March 27

Lebanon — Public safety agencies and organizations in Boone County will hold their annual severe weather preparedness drill on March 27.

At 10:15 a.m. and 7:35 p.m., warning sirens throughout Boone County will be set off to help officials and the public rehearse their plans when severe thunderstorms and tornadoes occur in the county. The tests will be held the next day if weather forces a cancellation, said Mike Martin, director of the Boone County Emergency Management Agency.
