Witham welcomes first baby of 2013

Boone County — Tracy Rainwater of Lebanon delivered a healthy baby boy at 2:14 p.m. New Year’s Day, making the new arrival Witham Memorial Hospital’s first baby of 2013.

Jeydon Scott arrived weighing 8 pounds, 6 ounces and is 20 inches in length. Tracy and Richard Rainwater are the proud parents and Jeydon is the couple’s first child.

Jeydon was delivered by Dr. Hillhouse of Creekside OB/GYN.

Suspect escapes after Zionsville carjacking

A search was suspended at 3 p.m. Friday for a white male who allegedly carjacked a maroon, late-model Nissan on Mayflower Parkway, wrecked the vehicle at 106th Street and Dahlia Drive, and fled on foot.
