Boone County’s Health Department is looking for a full-time food inspector, but must first win permission from the Boone County Council to hire one.
Cory Wolford, an environmental health specialist, had been doing much of the inspections but had been commuting here, said Cindy Murphy, RN, the health department’s supervisor and director of nursing and vital records.
