Local chamber makes plans

Staff report

Lebanon — The Boone County Chamber of Commerce has five newly elected board members. They are The Creighton Studios architect Chris Colson, Curves of Lebanon owner Vickie Daupert, Faucett & Flame owner Allyson Faucett, Witham Health Services occupational therapist Sharon Keck and NorthPark Community Credit Union president and CEO Dan Robbins.

The slate passed unanimously at the chamber’s annual breakfast meeting Tuesday morning at Ulen Country Club.

But new board members won’t be the only change coming to the chamber. Michelle Wiltermood, who became executive director in January, unveiled several new ideas.

One is a member-to-member discount program. Wiltermood encouraged members to look for “something that you might be able to offer your fellow members.”
