Police seek Zionsville bank robbers

Zionsville — The two men who robbed the Zonsville Key Bank branch at gunpoint Monday have so far evaded capture.

Zionsville Police Chief Rob Knox said two men entered the Key Bank at 11622 N. Michigan Road, at 11 a.m. Monday, displayed handguns and demanded money. They were wearing bandanas, black sweatshirts and jeans. They were described as black, about 6 feet tall and weighing 180 to 195 pounds.

Knox said the two men fled the bank in a vehicle that was reported stolen from the north side of Indianapolis. The car was found abandoned on Mayfield Lane just west of the bank on Sycamore Street.
