— Hours of operation are changing at the Memorial Park Pool.
Beginning Aug. 9, when Lebanon Community School Corp. opens the school year, the pool will be open from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, Park Director John Messenger said at Monday’s Board of Works and Public Safety meeting.
The pool will be open from noon to 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Adults-only hours will remain 8:30 to 10 a.m. Monday through Friday; Wednesday adults-only swimming is finished for the season.
A back-to-school luau and pool party will be 5:30 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Messenger said. All students will be admitted free; there will be games, prizes and a hot dog dinner. Dinner for non-students is $2. Call the park office at (765) 482-8860 to register.
