City plans to sell business park rail spur

The rail spur property in the Lebanon Business Park will soon be up for bid.

The Lebanon Redevelopment Commission approved relinquishing ownership of the property at Tuesday’s meeting. As a part of the agreement to build the railroad spur in the business park, the RDC holds the title to the property. But it does not want to continue to own it because it is a very expensive piece of property, said City Attorney Bob Clutter.
