County Toy Drive under way

The 32nd annual Boone County Toy Drive launched Monday. Contributions to the 32nd annual Boone County Toy Drive are being accepted, toy drive chairwoman Myrtle Bailey said Monday.

Last year the effort provided toys to 913 children through age 12.

Contributions of food items and gently used or new toys are being accepted at Lebanon Fire Department’s two stations; the Zionsville Fire Department; the Old West Wood Shop, 223 E. Fordice St., Lebanon; Arc Rehab Center, Lebanon; Dollar General Store, Lebanon; c/o Bailey at 407 E. Fordice St., Lebanon; or by calling Roxie Stewart in Jamestown at (765) 676-5243.

Persons may also choose a name from a display in the Christmas shop at the Lebanon Walmart.
