Boone County — Flu shots will be available from the Boone County Health Department at five locations through October, Cindy Murphy, RN, the agency’s supervisor, said.
Shots are $20 for adults and $10 for children ages six months through 18. Nasal flu mist for healthy children ages 2 to 18 is $10. High-dosage flu vaccinations, designed specifically for those 65 and older, are $30; pneumonia vaccinations are $60.
Payment may be made by cash, check, credit card or billed to Medicare Part B.
The adults-only shot clinic will be 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 29, at the Senior Health Expo in the Witham Health Services Pavilion at the Boone County 4-H Fairgrounds, 1300 E. CR 100 S., Lebanon.
