Boone County — A trip to a pharmacy led to a rural Lebanon man being arrested despite his efforts to flee police Thursday morning.
William A. Anderson, 23, was captured in an apartment building hallway at 221 S. Lebanon St., by Lebanon Police Lt. Brent Wheat fewer than five minutes after off-duty Thorntown Police Officer Frank Clark spotted Anderson at the adjacent CVS Pharmacy.
There are also several warrants for Anderson issued by Hamilton County courts, Wheat said; details of those cases were not immediately available.
It was LPD’s third foot pursuit in as many days, and the second time this week an officer from another agency has helped LPD capture a suspect.
