Lebanon — Construction of a $2.25 million public safety building on Hall-Baker Road should begin this September, with completion next spring.
The 17,000-square-foot building will be Lebanon Fire Department’s third station, and include room for police officers and emergency medical services.
Fire Chief Ted Caldwell and Bruce Dillon, of Duke Construction, discussed plans for the station at Monday’s Lebanon City Council meeting.
Bids for the building are to be received on Aug. 10, Dillon said. “We hope to start Sept. 20,” he said, with the building’s concrete parking area finished “before the snow flies,” so the station can “hopefully” be finished next year.
