Danville’s strong first half too much for Stars

Lebanon —  After a convincing win in its home opener last week against Clinton Central the Western Boone Stars were looking to carry momentum into their Sagamore Conference opener as they played host to the Danville Warriors.

Coming off back-to-back 2-8 seasons, Danville is trying to re-establish its domination of the SAC.

So far, so undefeated.

The Warriors beat Western Boone 28-6 Friday, going 2-0 against conference opponents.

“You have to tip your cap to Danville,” said first year Western Boone head coach Jed Richman. “They are a well coached team and they out played us in every facet of the game tonight.”
