Lebanon — The Lebanon Tigers are making strides to where they want to be at the seasons end.
They showed some of those strides Thursday when they topped McCutcheon at Cool Lake 181-195.
“Our game is about halfway there,” Lebanon head coach Mick Milakovic said. “We are hitting the ball well off the tee and in the fairway, we just aren’t closing the deal. We are missing some greens and not chipping or putting the way we want to.”
The short game is something the Tigers would normally be spending a lot of time working on at this point in the season.
Milakovic said they haven’t had as much of a chance so far.
“It has been a weird season,” Milakovic said. “We have played a lot of tournaments and when we aren’t in a tournament the weather hasn’t cooperated.”
Amber McCormack and Allison Goodwin tied for medalist honors with 41s.
Abby Messenger shot a 48 and Emily Milburn shot a 51 for the Tigers.
