Morgan Charles Allen, 17, of Advance, died Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012, in Frankfort.
Morgan was born Jan. 24, 1995, in Indianapolis, the son of Shane Michael Allen and Kelly Jean Sheets. He had attended Clinton Prairie High School and Lebanon High School.
He was a forklift operator for Sanders Precast in Whitestown.
Morgan loved spending time in the out-of-doors, hunting, fishing and camping. He also enjoyed his work as a tattoo artist.
Survivors include his father, Shane M. Allen of Advance; his mother, Kelly J. Sheets and companion, David Dickson, of Lebanon; grandparents, Vivian S. Sheets of Lebanon, and Ronald (Karen) Allen of Thorntown; great-grandmother, Patricia Doan of Lebanon; fiancée, Kylie N. Price of Lebanon; brother, Mason Allen of Lebanon; uncles, Gary (Sherri) Allen of Jamestown and Bradley (Janie) Allen of Lebanon; aunt, Kassie (Jason) Frazier of Lebanon; several cousins, Cameron Maxwell, Matthew Reynolds, Cooper Frazier, Charli Frazier, Jason Allen, Lauren Allen, Lacey Allen, Carmen (Jason) Doyle and Loren Echeverria; and special family members, David Dickson Jr. and Austin Dickson.
He was preceded in death by a grandfather, Richard “Bill” Sheets; and a cousin, Lucian Allen.
Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, at Myers Chapel of Memories, with the Rev. Sam Westmoreland officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon.
