Marguerite H. Farid, 92, of Lebanon, passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2012, at St. Augustine’s Home for the Aged.
She was born on April 25, 1920, in Alexandria, Egypt, to Alexander and Aziza Hobeica.
She is survived by her sons, Nagy (Didi) Farid of Lebanon, and Fouad (Dalal) Farid of Markham of Ontario, Canada; five grandchildren, Nadine (Brian) Johnson, Suzanne Farid, Tamar Farid, Gina (Victor) Matta, and Ramy (Laura) Farid; and six great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Dr. Alphonse Farid, and brothers Habib and Shafiq Hobeica preceded her in death.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 20, in the St. Augustine’s Chapel, 2345 W. 86th St., Indianapolis.
Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Lebanon.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her memory may be made to the St. Augustine’s Home for the Aged.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon.
