Anita Lynn Kirkham

Anita Lynn Kirkham, 76, of Lebanon passed away Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012, surrounded by her loving family.

Anita was born March 27, 1936, in Martinsville, to Thomas and Anna (Fletcher) McKee.

She enjoyed fishing, Colts football, IU basketball, crocheting, sewing and crafts. Gifted in crafts, she made countless clothes, blankets, dolls and other items for her children and grandchildren to enjoy. She was a loving and giving mother and grandmother.

Anita had been a loyal employee at K-Mart for 38 years before retiring in 2000.

She is preceded in death by both parents; six siblings; and her two sons, Thomas Bryson, age 38 in 1993, and Michael Bryson, age 44 in 1997.

She is survived by two sisters, Judy Raymer of Martinsville and Anna Hill of Houston, Texas, as well as her three youngest children, Ralph P. Bryson of Whiteland, Rilla L. Bryson of Lebanon and Vickie Stephens of Whiteland. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, at the Hoosier Estates Club House, 830 Campbell St., Lebanon. All are invited who would like to celebrate and honor Anita’s life and legacy.
