— Mrs. Frances Norweida Anderson, 71, Lebanon, went to be with her savior on Monday, Sept. 6, 2010, at her home.
She was born in Hattiesburg, Miss., on March 1, 1939. She was the daughter of the late Betty (Travis) Suber.
She worked as a dispatch operator for Yellow Cab Company in Gulfport and Biloxi, Miss., until moving to Indiana in 1991.
Mrs. Anderson was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She cherished her family and friends. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, painting, ceramics and reading. Mrs. Anderson was a devout Christian and prayed daily.
She was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Lebanon.
Survivors include her five children, Mrs. Sandra C. Davis and husband, William of Mulberry, Mr. Kenneth Robert Eugene Recore and wife, Donna K. of Gulfport, Miss., Mr. Matthew Brian Gordon of Richland, Miss., Mrs. Betty “Pam” Figley and husband, Levi of Lebanon, and Mr. Joseph Sykes Wayne Curet and companion, Terri Hill of Lebanon; 19 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
A sister, Janie Taylor, a son, Patrick Bruce Gordon, and a grandson, William Grant Davis II, preceded her in death.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 10, at Lighthouse Baptist Church, 858 West 250 North, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with Pastor Merv McNair officiating.
Interment will follow at the Fair Haven Cemetery in Mulberry.
