Lebanon — Thomas Earl Collier, 66, Clarksville, Tenn., died Wednesday, July 21, 2010, at his residence.
He was born April 29, 1944, in Lebanon, and was preceded in death by his parents, George Darrell and Rilla Margaret Goff Collier.
Mr. Collier was a graduate of Lebanon Senior High School and attended the Woodlawn Community Church of the Nazarene. He was retired from the U.S. Army where he served from the Vietnam Era through 1984.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Ellen Smith Collier of Clarksville; daughters, Tammy (Jim) Earl of Temple, Texas, Terri (Richard) Dakin of Paris, Tenn.; brother, Jerry (Judy) Collier of Thorntown; sister, Loretta Tolley of Lebanon; grandchildren, Chris Anderson, Melisa Clark, Stephanie Malcolm, Joshua Dakin; and five great-grandchildren.
He also was preceded in death by brother, Duane Collier; and brother-in-law, Leon Tolley.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.. Monday at the funeral home. A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel, 1209 Madison St., Clarksville, the Revs. Richard Dakin and Rev. Tracy Hoskins officiating. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West, Hopkinsville, Ky., with full military honors.
