Ms. Luana Kay Hoffman, 65, of Lebanon, died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation at Parkwood in Lebanon.
Luana was born Aug. 27, 1947, in Lebanon. She was a daughter of the now late Sylvan Eugene “Tuck” and Nina Jean (Gerrity) Hartsock. She attended schools in Lebanon.
In 1962, she married William Robert Hoffman in Lebanon; they divorced. In 1982, she married Joseph Junior Corwin in Lebanon; they also divorced.
A lifelong resident of Lebanon, Luana worked as a cook, waitress and manager for various restaurants in the area, retiring in 1996.
She was a devoted mother and grandmother, who loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed country music, visiting Nashville, Tenn., collecting dolphin items and working jigsaw puzzles.
Luana was a member of the Lebanon Moose Lodge and the VFW in Lebanon.
Survivors include four children, Robert Hoffman, Patricia (Dan) Potter and Eugene Hoffman, all of Lebanon, and Richard Hoffman of Indianapolis; granddaughter, Lillian Hannah Anderson of Lebanon; and one brother, David Lee Hartsock of Lebanon.
Visitation is 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 11, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Myers Chapel of Memories, with Pastor Lee Faust officiating. Interment will follow at Hopewell Cemetery in Lebanon.
