Delores (Branstetter) Kendricks

Delores (Branstetter) Kendricks, 80, of Crawfordsville, went to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, at Franciscan St. Elizabeth Health, Crawfordsville.

Delores was born Oct. 31, 1932, in Summershade, Ky., to Paul and Vola Hurt Branstetter. She married the love of her life, Charles Kendricks, on Oct. 31, 1952; he survives. They have four wonderful children, Terry Kendricks, John (Debbie) Kendricks, Arlanda Jo (Gary) Bullock and Michelle Stucker, all of Crawfordsville; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Delores was a loving housewife and a faithful member of the Southside Church of Christ. She also enjoyed bowling.

In addition to her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, survivors include brothers, Drexel (Beverly) Branstetter, Denzel (Beverly) Branstetter; and sisters, Juanita (Jack) Miller, Barbara (Gene) Baute, Mary (Dean) Moore and Nancy (Ress) Wilsher.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Harold Branstetter.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30, at Hunt & Son Funeral Home, 107 N. Grant Ave., Crawfordsville. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, at the funeral home, with David Elliott officiating. Interment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Crawfordsville.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Crawfordsville Municipal Golf Course.
