Anita Beth Wernsing

Mrs. Anita Beth Wernsing, 78, of Fayette, passed away Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012, in Fayette.

Mrs. Wernsing was born May 3, 1934, in Hamilton County, to Harvey and Gladys (King) Watson. Both parents are deceased. She graduated from Ben Davis High School in 1968.

She married William “Bill” Wernsing on Sept. 21, 2000; he survives.

Mrs. Wernsing was retired from Wm. H. Block Co., where she worked as a key punch operator.

She was a loving mother and grandmother.

Mrs. Wernsing attended Mt. Tabor Primitive Baptist Church and was a member of the Lebanon American Legion Auxiliary.

Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Barbara Rickman of Missouri,Vicki (Henry) Keene of Linton and Kathy (Gary) Davis of Greenfield; four stepsons, Angel, Topper, Frankie and Tiger; three stepdaughters, Teresa, Jesse and Michelle; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and her four-legged best friends, Foxie (her dog) and Cookie (her cat).

She was preceded in death by daughter, Debra Kay Stovall; brother, Phillip Max Watson; sister, Phyllis Lewis; husbands, James Tindle, Ernest Stovall and Frank Badillo; and both parents.

Visitation is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at Mt. Tabor Primitive Baptist Church, 7028 S. Ind. 267, in Fayette. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the church, with Pastor Gary L. Brinson officiating. Interment will be in Crown View Cemetery, Sheridan.
