Mary A. Jaggers


Mrs. Mary A. Jaggers, 85, of Frankfort, died Monday, March 8, 2010, at St. Vincent Frankfort Hospital.

Mrs. Jaggers was born Aug. 28, 1924, in Frankfort. She was the daughter of Arthur and Veca (Camp) Wessell. She was a graduate of Frankfort High School and a lifelong Clinton County resident.

She married Albert Jaggers in 1941 and he preceded her in death in 1991.

Mrs. Jaggers was a homemaker and also worked with other families in their homes.

She was a member of the Jehovah’s Witness Church.

Mrs. Jaggers enjoyed working with ceramics and crafts, and dearly loved her grandchildren.

Survivors include three sons, Wink (Karen) Jaggers of Lebanon, and David L. (Fran) Jaggers and Michael (Francine) Jaggers, all of Frankfort; and two daughters, Penny (Denny) Hibbard and Jeanne Leggett, all of Frankfort. Also surviving are two brothers, four sisters, nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, two sisters and three brothers.

Visitation will be 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday, March 11, at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Services will be 3 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery in Frankfort.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, envelopes will be available.
