Charles Earl “Chuck” Snow

Mr. Charles Earl “Chuck” Snow, 71, passed away Sunday, Oct. 28, 2012, at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville.

Born in Boone County, on May 19, 1941, Mr. Snow was the son of the late James Roy and Marie Audrey (Taylor) Snow. Reared and educated in Boone County, he attended Whitestown High School.

For many years, he farmed and owned and operated Chuck’s Lawn Service. He also worked as a dump truck operator for a period of time.

He was a devoted companion, father and grandfather. He enjoyed his family, and took pride in his children and grandchildren. He loved being out-of-doors and enjoyed landscaping and fishing.

Survivors include seven children, Daniel Snow of Greencastle, Cathi Drummer of Indianapolis, Samuel Snow of Greencastle, Robert Arnold and Ila Batts, both of Lebanon, Dawn Hunter of Whitestown and Bev England of Advance; longtime companion, Mary Jane (Reagen) Arnold of Sheridan; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Stanley Arnold; a brother, Raymond Snow; and two sisters, Clarel Ottinger and Helen Downs.

Visitation will be private. A public graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, at Mts. Runn Cemetery, 250 S. CR 750 E, Zionsville.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
