On March 15, 2013, Ginny left this life to be with her Lord and Savior. She was born Dec. 2, 1933, and lived her adult life in the Indianapolis Metropolitan Area. She was a member of Northfield Community Church, and served as Sunday school teacher there for many years.
Ginny loved nature, especially birds. She took great joy in trips to Eagle Creek Park and family traditions. She was devoted to her family, friends and her pets.
Survivors include her husband, Carl Haas of Whitestown; sons, David (Julie) Haas of Indianapolis and Michael (Helen) Adams of Zionsville; and seven grandchildren and four great-grand children. She is also survived by her brother, John (Marge) Ryburn of Trafalgar.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Jean Workman; son, Danny Haas; granddaughter, Susie Haas; and niece, Joellyn Workman.
She was much loved by her family, and will be greatly missed.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 6, at the Zionsville Presbyterian Church, 4775 W. 116th St., Zionsville.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Indianapolis Humane Society, 7929 N. Michigan Road, Indianapolis, IN 46268; or St. Vincent Hospice, 8450 N. Payne Road, Suite 100, Indianapolis, IN 46268.
