Loteta M. “Teda” Snow, age 78, of Lebanon, formerly of Logansport, passed away Monday, March 8, 2010, at St. Vincent Heart Center of Indiana in Indianapolis.
She was born March 27, 1931, in Fountain County, the daughter of Gardner and Claudine (Clark) Bowers. She was a 1948 graduate of Covington High School.
A homemaker, Teda was a member of St. James Lutheran Church in Logansport, where she was an assistant to the church treasurer and a member of the Mary Martha Guild.
She enjoyed gardening and flowers. She also enjoyed all animals, but most especially “Maggie,” her favorite dog.
Surviving are her husband, Lyle Jensen of Lebanon; three sons, Jackie Roy (Madge) Jones of Geneseo, Ill., Rick (Vickie) Jones of Tower Hill, Ill., and James Snow Jr. of Beech Grove; four daughters, Goyita (Dick) Young of Crawfordsville, Madeana (Russell) White of Williamsport, Kelly (Royal) Kincade of West Lebanon and Tracy Holler of Colorado Springs, Colo.; stepson, Frank (Carol) Jensen of Lebanon; stepdaughter, Joyce (Mike) Etheridge of Avon; brother, Gardner D. (Nancy) Bowers of Veedersburg; sister, Amber K. Brewer of Jacksonville, Fla.; and 19 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her former husband, James Snow Sr.; son, Jeffrey Snow; and brother, Robert C. Bowers.
Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 11, at Kroeger Funeral Home, 711 E. Market St., Logansport, and 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, March 12, at St. James Lutheran Church, 430 9th St., Logansport. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with Pastor K. C. Dehning and Pastor Marvin Hinkle officiating.
A graveside service will be held at 3:15 p.m. Friday at the Highland Cemetery, Williamsport.
