Paul Rudolph Arnold


Mr. Paul Rudolph Arnold, 62, of Lebanon, died Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010, at Home Hospital in Lafayette.

Mr. Arnold was born in Los Angeles, Calif., on May 19, 1947, the son of the late Paul and Mary Arnold. He was reared and educated in Los Angeles, where he graduated from Compton High School.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He resided most of his life in Seattle, Wash., and moved to Lebanon in 2006.

Mr. Arnold spent his career as a janitor. He owned his own cleaning service in Washington for about 15 years.

He was a devoted father and friend. His love of life and time spent with loved ones will be missed by all.

Mr. Arnold formerly attended First Baptist Church in Lebanon.

Survivors include children, Shane D. Arnold, Brianna P. Snapp, Preston “P.J.” Snapp and Kierra C. Snyder, all of Lebanon; brother, Leroy Arnold of Los Angeles; friends, Teresa R. Snyder and husband, David L., and Sara J. Harpham, all of Lebanon.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, at the home of Teresa and Dave Snyder, 417 Jameson St., Lebanon. Family will officiate. Cremation has been entrusted to Myers Mortuary, Lebanon.
