Scott A. Peabody, 38, of Orland Park, Ill., passed away Nov. 28, 2012.
Scott was born March 9, 1974, to Gary and Brenda (Shafer) Peabody.
A memorial service was held at Colonial Chapel in Orland Park on Dec. 2.
Survivors are his parents; sister, Lisa (Ken) Parchem, and three nieces, Avery, Reese and Shay Parchem, all of Frankfort, Ill.; paternal grandparents, Harold and Madalyn Peabody of Lebanon; aunts, Lana (Gary) Smith and Dana (Jim) Busenbarrick, all of Whitestown; and uncle, Kenneth (Gayle) Shafer.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Herbert and Virginia Shafer; and an aunt, Susan Proctor.
A celebration of Scott’s life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, at New Hope Christian Church, 5780 S. 650 E, Whitestown.
Memorial contributions may be made to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).
