Jack Abner Love

Mr. Jack Abner Love, 75, of Speedway, formerly of Pittsboro, died Sunday, Aug. 12, 2012.

Mr. Love was born Feb. 27, 1937, in Coffee County, Tenn., to Mallory Bailey Love and Anna Belle (Harrison) Love.

He attended school in Pittsboro, served in the Army, worked for NCR as a service technician and programmer, sold and developed real estate in Texas, was a successful restaurateur in Lebanon for almost two decades, and operated JAL Driveaway until his passing.

He is survived by his daughter, Alana, and sister, Alta.

Celebration of life will be held from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, at Lizton Lion’s Park shelter in Lizton. Services will begin at 3:30 p.m., followed by internment at the Lizton K of P Cemetery at 4:45 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, but the family requests that favorite photos of Jack be brought to the service to share. Memorial contributions may be made to Shriner’s Hospitals for Children.
