Kari Keith

Weymouth, Mass. — Kari (Hagen) Keith, 74, of Weymouth, Mass., passed away on Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012.

She was born in Norway but lived in Oklahoma and Milton, Mass., before moving to Weymouth many years ago. She was an intelligent woman with many careers behind her including a certified dental assistant, Realtor for Robert Stone, Inc., in Braintree, Mass., and a teacher’s assistant for the Weymouth Public Schools.

She was also generous with her time and volunteered at the South Shore Baptist Church in Hingham, Mass., through the senior fellowship and the Whipple Senior Center in Weymouth.

Kari and her husband are life members of the Wessagussett Yacht Club, where they have made many friends. She also enjoyed writing, watercolor art and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be sadly missed.

She was the beloved wife of Claud L. Keith of Weymouth; the devoted mother of Kristine (Fergus) Keenan of Mansfield, Mass.; Glenn (Heather) Keith of Norwell, Mass.; and Shawn (Elizabeth Padgett) Keith of rural Lebanon; and the cherished “Nani” of seven grandchildren, including Matthew, Ryan, and Sarah Keith of rural Lebanon.

Services will be private.

Donations in memory of Kari may be made to the Weymouth Elder Services at the Whipple Senior Center, 182 Green Street, Weymouth, MA 02191.
