Marjorie “Jeanne” Lawler

Marjorie “Jeanne” Lawler 61, of Mitchell passed away at 6:38 p.m. Saturday September 29, 2012 at IU Health Bloomington Hospital. Born December 9, 1950 in Indianapolis, IN. She was the daughter of the late Marvin C.  Brown Sr. and Mary C.E. (Guffey) Brown. She married Fred F. Lawler on December 2, 1976.

Jeanne was a Mom, a Friend, a Sister and a Beloved Wife. She enjoyed crocheting, reading books, playing bingo and making crafts, She loved to get others together to make baked goods & candy for the holidays. Over the years she would always reach out to help anyone whenever she could, there was no such thing as a stranger to Jeanne she was always smiling and friendly and loyal to others. She never let one day pass that she wasn’t trying to do something for someone else other than herself. Jeanne’s love had no boundaries and that is what she will be remembered for, to know her was to love her and she never expected anything in return.

Jeanne is survived by her husband Fred F. Lawler of Mitchell, IN. Siblings, Marvena Bell (John) of Lebanon, IN. Marvin C. Brown Jr. (Gaye) of Zionsville, IN. Marilyn Brown of Indianapolis, IN. Thomas Brown (Becky) of Zionsville, IN. Children (Son) Andrew Lawler of Mitchell, IN. (Stepson) Virgil Lawler (JoLea) of Houma, LA.  Several grandchildren nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her Father Marvin Brown Sr., Mother Mary C.E. Brown and Brother Herbert S. “Herbie” Mikel.

Calling for the Celebration of Life For Jeanne will be Friday October 5, 2012 at Bethel Country Church from 6-8 pm located at 2 Hoosier Avenue Oolitic, Indiana 47451.
