Ms. Barbara Ann Olson, 64, of Lebanon, died Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, at Kindred Transitional Care & Rehabilitation at Parkwood in Lebanon.
She was born in Muncie on Oct. 24, 1948, a daughter of the now late Bennie Correll and Dovie (Galimore) Correll Dunnuck.
Reared and educated in Muncie, Barbara graduated from Southside High School. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Ball State University.
Barbara married the Rev. Rick Olson in 1976, and they later divorced.
For about 10 years, she worked at the Indiana Veterans Home in Lafayette as the director of social services.
During her early years, Barbara loved spending her summers in Alabama visiting her family and friends. She enjoyed reading, doing yard work and antiquing.
Survivors include son, Brett Olson and companion, Monica Eavey, of Lebanon; two sisters, Betty (Jim) Beall of Anderson and Elizabeth (Bill) Miles of Mishawaka; and several nieces and nephews.
Myers Mortuary, 1502 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon, has been entrusted with the arrangements for cremation.
Interment will be held at a later date in Attalla, Ala.
