Madonna O. Waters Fuller, of Sarasota, Fla., passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus at her home Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, two days after a weekend celebration of her 89th birthday.
She was born Jan. 20, 1924, to Thelma O. Russell and Rollin M. Waters of Hartford City, both now deceased.
She was married to Richard M. Fuller, a love story that lasted 48 years, until his death in 1993. Although they are painfully missed, we rejoice that now they are together.
Those left to cherish her memories are her two daughters, Victoria Walker and Christina Auman; her son, Richard (Lynn) Fuller II; a half brother, Ted Waters; and eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Madonna will forever be remembered as “Nanny” to not only her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, but to the many others who were blessed to know and love her.
A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, at Toale Brothers Funeral Home, 40 North Orange Ave., Sarasota.
