Ernest C. French Jr. died Friday Feb. 15, 2013 at Parkwood Health Care Center in Lebanon. He was born April 30, 1927, at Ladoga, to Ernest C. and Garnet Gause French. He attended Ladoga High School. He married Arlowein Joan Starnes on March 25, 1971. Served in the U.S. Army, worked for Allison Division of General Motors as an overhead crane operator and was a member of the Roachdale Christian Church.
Survived by his wife, one son Tim French of Crossville, Tenn.; daughter Karen “Tom” McIntrye of Crawfordsville; Stepson Jeff “Diane” Mallow Xenia, Ohio; four grandsons; three great-grandchildren; sister Carol French; brother David French both of Ladoga. He was preceeded by a sister, Irene Cross.
Visitation for Mr. French will be 2 to 4 p.m. Monday Feb. 18, at Servies & Morgan Funeral Home in Ladoga. Graveside services will follow at the Ladoga Cemetery.
