Shirley A. Dickerson, 56, of Lebanon, died Friday, Nov. 6, 2009, at Witham Memorial Hospital, Lebanon.
She was born May 17, 1953, in Indianapolis, to Wallace and Beulah (Quick) Scott. Her parents are deceased. She graduated from Lebanon High School in 1972.
She married Steve Dickerson in 1984 in Lebanon. They divorced.
Mrs. Dickerson worked for Adam’s Rib in Zionsville for some time. She then worked for the U.S. Postal Service in Frankfort and then Mulberry, retiring in 1997 for health reasons.
Her hobbies were gardening and she enjoyed her dogs and cats.
Survivors include one daughter, Emily Dickerson of Lebanon, and one son, Adam Dickerson and companion, Lindsey Petrarca, of Lebanon.
Visitation is noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday at Russell & Hitch Funeral Home, 223 N. Meridian St., Lebanon. Services are 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Pastor Billy Watts officiating. Burial will be at Mts. Runn Cemetery in Boone County.
