Rev. Clarence Doyle, 78, of Hamlin, Ky., died Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009, at his residence.
Mr. Doyle was a combat solder during the Korean War.
He faithfully served the Lord for 42 years, during which he started three churches and founded the Hoosier Hills Baptist Camp in Versailles.
He is preceded in death by one son, Jonathan Doyle, and his parents, Gert Doyle and Della Doyle.
Mr. Doyle is survived by his wife, Virginia Ragan Doyle of New Concord, Ky.; three daughters, Terri Daniel and her husband, Jerry, of Brooklyn, Ind., Peggy Craig and her husband, Darrell, of Murray and Patty Albert and her husband, Kevin, of Ellettsville; one sister, Mert McIntire of Lebanon; and nine grandchildren, Amanda Daniel, Jennifer Daniel, Heather Howdyshell, Christina West, Jonathan Craig, David Craig, Hannah Albert, Heidi Albert and Ryan Albert.
Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Lifeway Baptist Church, 7821 W. State Road 46, Ellettsville. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Lifeway Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Mt. Tabor Cemetery in Fayette.
